Which TikTok videos can I transcribe?

Use one public TikTok video link, including supported short share links, up to 10 minutes and 50 MB. Private videos, image posts and live streams are not supported.

Is the TikTok transcript generator free?

Available captions in the requested language, copying and TXT downloads are free within existing parsing limits. Guests can parse 10 videos per day and signed-in free users 15. AI recognition requires sign-in and costs 1 credit per started 2 minutes; translation costs 2 credits when no matching captions are available. SRT/VTT exports require an active subscription.

Can I transcribe a video without captions?

Yes. Sign in to use AI recognition when usable captions are unavailable. Recognition uses credits under the existing pricing rules.

Can I choose or translate the transcript language?

Yes. Choose an output language independently of the site language. Matching captions are used when available; translating into another language uses the existing translation allowance or credits. Saved results can be revisited without generating them again.

Can I copy the transcript or download subtitles?

The Download menu includes plain-text and timestamped copying, TXT, timestamped TXT, SRT and VTT. Copying and TXT downloads are free; SRT/VTT require an active subscription. Downloads are available after successful completion.

How accurate is a transcript?

Review names, numbers and quotations against the original video. Background music, overlapping speech and accents can affect recognition. If the result contains AI visual descriptions instead of speech, they are explicitly labeled; visual descriptions are not spoken words.

How is a transcript different from a summary?

A transcript follows the spoken words and timestamps. A summary condenses the key ideas. You can switch between transcript, summary and mind map in the same result panel.
